  8. Restor Opie awoke from his deep hibernation space rest, aboard his space
  9. craft the Makita VI.  Due to his long journey from the Omega Quadrant it
  10. had  been  necesary  to  go  into hibernation sleep which slows down the
  11. ageing of average humans,even though Restor was no average human.
  12.  
  13. He examined the instrument panels checking the navigation system against
  14. very  old  milatry maps which even now were very illegal to have in ones
  15. possesssion but considering that the rest of his craft was full of drugs
  16. guns  and  all  other  illegal  items  under  the  rules  of Zencon law.
  17. Fortunatley  the  system of Delcon which he was heading towards does and
  18. probally  never  will  defend  the  Zencon goverment so all of the worse
  19. types  of  people  and  other  living species converge on this system to
  20. trade in all manner of illegal dealings.
  21.  
  22. Zencon  is  the  ruling goverment of over two thirds of the galaxy it is
  23. not  unlike  the  20th century Euro parliment they control all manner of
  24. things  including  Police  taxes  etc.   The Goverment over the last few
  25. years  has  come  under  direct  attack  from  all kinds of other groups
  26. claiming  that  they are cheats and as bad as some of the criminals they
  27. publicy execute to try to show people they show no mercy.  But now there
  28. is  a  new party which has gathered great strenght and agaility from the
  29. man  in  the  street,XON  is  the  party in question and they are really
  30. hurting the Zencon party in all manner of ways,some people think in less
  31. than 1 year XON will rule the galaxy.

  33. Restor  Opie was daydreaming of his happer times only 1 year ago back on
  34. the Omega system trading with his small but busy company in fruit juices
  35. until  that  fatefull  day  when  the  Zencon  police closed his factory
  36. arrested  him and charged Restor with non payement of taxes and theating
  37. to  overturn  the  Zencon goverment.  Rstor now counts the days until he
  38. can  return  to  Omega as a free man.  His daydream was disturbed by the
  39. intercom  bellowing  "THIS  IS DELCON SPACE DOCK 911 STATE YOUR SHIP AND
  40. BUISNESS".   Restor  opened  the channel and said "Oh come on Carol dont
  41. muck  me  about  its  Restor", The reply was almost instant and with the
  42. sound of joy in the womans voice "Restor youre alive we feared the worse
  43. please dock at pad 8492" Restor slowly guided his craft towards the said
  44. landing pad.

  47. SGT  Kirdaz  Vildal  paced  up  and  down his office obviusley in a rage
  48. shouting  at  the  top  of his voice at his corprals "You missed him you
  49. lost  him Restor Opie escaped you idiots".  It was very easy to see that
  50. this  man  was not a happy person, he turned to his corprals and ordered
  51. them to searc out mr Opie and either capture or better still kill him on
  52. sight.  With this in mind his corprals hurried from his offfice to order
  53. there men as Sgt Vildal had ordered them.
  54.  
  55. As the corprals rushed away to there battlions Sgt Vildaz sat quitley at
  56. his desk pondering as where Restor Opie may be,he knew that this man has
  57. to  be  found  to save his cover and his position he looked at the small
  58. tattoo  on  his  left  shoulder  it  showed the mark of KILDAR an acient
  59. sysmbol  long  forgotten  by todays standards but reconsigned by a small
  60. band of follows who may not be as small as everbody else thinks.

  62. Back  on Delcon Restor opie arrived at the home of Carol Kemachs and old
  63. friend  whom  he  had been having a relationship with on and off for the
  64. past  6  months.   After  a wonderfull dinner they retired to the living
  65. room,restor  kept  thinking  to himself that he must not get attached to
  66. this women due to his fugative states but he could not pull himself away
  67. from this very beautiful women even though he knew he was putting her in
  68. mortal  danger.  At around 5.30am Restor left Carols home and headed for
  69. his ship he hated long goodbyes.
  70.  
  71. Restor  opie  had  made a few good deals on delcon so he loading hisship
  72. with  a new inventory mostly computers and a few other illegal items and
  73. made navigational adjustments and left for ALDIR where he would meet his
  74. good friend Toin Dety,hopeing that the people who were chasing him would
  75. not link him to Carol.

  77. Sgt  Vildaz had been summoned to see his commanding officer of the Omega
  78. Quadrant,he  knew  he  was in for a very hard time.  As he walked to the
  79. generals  office  he tried to think of the questions he made be asked so
  80. he could plan his answers.
  81.  
  82. "Sgt  K  Vildaz  to  see  General  Printond"  he  said  to  the generals
  83. secatary."Yes  sir  he  has  been  waiting for you please go straight in
  84. second  door  on  the left".  Vildaz could feel that his palms were very
  85. sweaty  he  thought to himself he had only seen the General twice before
  86. and  those were at partys thown by major leaders of other quadrants.  He
  87. knocked on the door twice and entered the genearal was sitting behind an
  88. enormous  desk  signing  some  offical looking papers Valdiz stood there
  89. waiting  for  what  seemed  to  him ages, then the General looked up and
  90. asked  Valdiz  to  sit  down  his  voice  calm and made Valdiz feel much
  91. better.   The  general  stood up and walked towards the windowat the far
  92. end of his office and then walked all the way back before he roared with
  93. graet   anger   "Why   have   you  not  caught  or  killed  Restor  Opie
  94. VALDIZ",before Valdiz could even open his mouth the general was speaking
  95. again "This service is not good enough Vadiz we trusted you to carry out
  96. this  simple  task  and  you have blown it." "The high council of Kildar
  97. have  raised  this matter and have asked me why it has not been soted so
  98. now  I  am  asking you." Valdied his mouth and said "Dear General"."Dont
  99. give me any of that Dear General bullshit Valdiz" said General Printond.
  100. Valdiz  tried again "General I have good information that Opie is on his
  101. way to Asdir and I have dispatched my men to deal with it".  The general
  102. took  his  time to answer "you better be right Valdiz because youre life
  103. depends  on it, as you know the safty of our mission under kidar must be
  104. kept  a  secret  until we are redy to rule the galaxy".  "Now leave me I
  105. must convey your words to the high council".  Vildaz got up and left the
  106. Generals office.
  107.  
  108. Restor  opie was just coming to his half way journey on his way to Asdir
  109. he  was  just  passing  the  old mining moon Sapphire he was thinking of
  110. carol  still  and  that  he  really  should  have  said goodbye when his
  111. daydreaming  was  abruptly  stopped by the noise coming from the cockpit
  112. waring of other vessels on radar, Restor quickley jumped to his feet and
  113. ran  to  the cockpit he scanned the radar system and was shocked to find
  114. two  incoming  Zencon  police  ships  in  attack formation, anthor alarm
  115. sounded  that  confirmed  that they had missle lock on his ship.  Restor
  116. put  his  small  Makita  craft  in to a very steep dive then a left then
  117. right  more alarms started to ring the computer informed him of incoming
  118. missle  another  hard left turn then straight up, but to no avail he cut
  119. the  engines and the missle flew by missing him by inches Reestor as the
  120. quickest to react with the flick of a swith he was in attack mode aiming
  121. at  one  of  the  police  ships  he  fired  at  very close range a large
  122. expolsion  followed  and  the  other police ship scattered.  Restor opie
  123. returned to his course for Asdir.
  124.  
  125. Back  in the Omega quadrant Sgt Valdiz sat at his desk reading the space
  126. transmission  regarding the run in his ships had had with Restor Opie,he
  127. was very dissappointed that his men had lost but the pilot who had flown
  128. away  from the battle would just be executed for deserting.  Valdiz knew
  129. he had to get involved he called his ship and made course for Delcon.
  130.  
  131. The  Kildar  High  council  were  in session at a secret location at the
  132. distant moon of Etrcat,The eleven men and one woman sat around the table
  133. of  truth  awaiting  the  satalitte transmission from there leader.  The
  134. large  screen  flickered  into  action  and there stood KILDAR the acent
  135. warrior  over  eight  feet  tall a very evil looking being half man half
  136. wolf.   "My  leaders  of  the  round table of truth I have one problem I
  137. understand  that  the  trader  know  as Opie has still not been stopped.
  138. This  man  must  be caught if we want to rule from the Zencon alliance".
  139. General  Printpont stood and said "My great leader my men and top killer
  140. Vildaz  are  on the way to Delcon to set a trap for our mr Opie which we
  141. are certain will kill him." "Excellent" replied Kildar ,The General then
  142. spoke  again  "please  leader  why do you want the Opie person so badly"
  143. within  seconds the General was rolling on the ground holding his thoart
  144. seconds  later  he  was  dead.  "That is what happens when questions are
  145. asked that do not concern the person asking,Transmission ends" with that
  146. Kildar was gone.
